The author is executing a decent story horribly, he’s trying to compact a story meant to be dragged out abit but it’s like 5 seconds = 10 minutes or something in the story

Ch.29:
Ugh, well IF the translation would be good its decent, but at the moment…
This is a chinese cultivation story. Meaning, the characters are not overly intelligent and the mc has plot armor thicker than yo mama. In this particular story the characters are more honorable than usual and the worldbuilding is interesting. But somehow the story wastes its potential and only gets worse and worse.

The art is very good. It the usual webtoon with stark contrasts and clear lines. Most of the panels contain details and filled backgrounds.

And for the characters, well, there are too many damsels in distress and low IQ villains. I very much like the mc: honorable, intelligent, not overly overbearing, does not slap face (much). But every other character feels…not alive.

Up it 2 sum, this is a below average chinese cultivation webtoon that contains action and comedy. The worldbuilding and the art are good, while the bad translation makes everything else worse. There are many better cultivation stories out there so, don’t give this a try.
