Ch. 105:
This is a completed story. The rating should be around 4.1-4.3, don’t know why its rated so low. Overall it’s a thrilling story with a weak protagonist, lots of drama, action and a bit of comedy. The story made me feel uncomfortable as it is asking difficult questions like “Is it right to sacrifice your family in order have a chance to save humanity, or is it a choice and you can choose your family?”
Furthermore, even though the story starts off very comedic, it becomes very dramatic and sad at about a third into the story.

The art is nothing too outstanding. It has some ups and downs, like solid action or scenes, but empty backgrounds pretty often. The amount of details is fine, but i never could call a panel “gorgeous”. Very good art.

The characters are alive. They all have their motives and flaws. All are unique. The mc is a weakling that always tries his hardest and has the most goodnatured opinion in every situation, but he is easily afraid and doesn’t have the power to back it up. Many people don’t like that. Personally, I don’t care. Great characters.

2 up it sum, this is a solid, on drama focussed, completed, fantasy adventure story with good art and great characters. This definitely isn’t a must read though. Give it a try if you feel like it.
