Summary

Akira, a new hunter boy who wants to go up from the slums, entering the ruins of the Old World he meets a mysterious girl who can only be seen by him as a ghost, in a world where hunters are trying to overcome the legacy of the old civilization.

First of all: Slow update speed warning.
If you want more, the story is based on a well-recieved webnovel you can find…on some other site.
Anyway, the story is a mixture between horizon: zero dawn and fallout. Meaning, humans fight beastlike machine monsters in a world that has a few nuclear “discussions” behind it. And our starving mc is scavenging some ruins, trying to find something he can sell for food. But he finds an AI companion instead. So the story begins. Overall this manga features an interesting story, many action/fight scenes and a uneasy atmosphere.
Everything is drawn in the modern kind of manga-style, seen in many jump-shounen. There are some empty backgrounds, but then again some very detailed panels.
Honestly, I really like how every female character looks. Well proportioned AND beatifully drawn. Me gusta.
Otherwise the art is very good.
The personalities and characters are realistic. In a brutal world where fighting against raiders, machines or even the weather becomes deadly with one bad decision, most people can’t afford to be friendly… Although, those who can are friendly… A-anyway, the characters are mature and brutal.
2 sum it up, this is a science-fiction manga filled with action. The story is interesting and the fanservice doesn’t fall too short.
The BIG problem is the slow updatespeed. Otherwise I would rate this a “you definitely should give this a try”.
