Webtoon Character Na Kang Lim

Great.
Reminds me of “rascal does not dream of bunny girl senpai”. Highschool, dead eyed mc, female characters falling in love with mc cus he helps them out with their problems, a sprinkle of supernatural time looping when mc fcks up and voila! You get this: A comedy/drama highschool romance/sliceof life webtoon with likable characters.

The art is great. Although it never impresses with abundance of details, the panels are mostly filled and there are no obvious flaws. Furthermore the facial expressions, the comedy and the heartwarming moments are drawn excellently.

The characters are all your usual likable, quirky highschool bunch. Each has their own problems and thoughts and that adds to their depth. Great characters.

2 sum it up, this comedy, slice of life, drama romance highschool webtoon impresses with well versed art, great story and excellent characters. So far its on a highway to become a masterpiece. Definitely give it a try.

Ch. 100:
Dude. If you absolutely loved Nisekoi, you’d 100% love this. The set up in the early chapters feels so Nisekoi. You’ll understand once you get through like the first few dozen chapters. However do not be mistaken by this remark. If you’re not prepared, you will cry. There’s Psychological aspects like in Re:Zero. And an important concept similar to it. Additionally, this can also be a parody of Webtoons that takes itself seriously and let’s itself take itself to the extreme because it is self aware that it is a webtoon, and they do it so well. As you go through though, it’s not just Nisekoi. My Highschool romance is not real or something. Yk, Hachiman. Na Kang Lim is similar to him the most. Yet his circumstances are beyond just normal Hachiman shenanigans.

If you’re interested with just the concept so far, then my golly, if you love action, their action scenes will not disappoint. It’s not excessive nor is it sloppily drawn like some of the other things in this site. (I’m looking at those Manhuas where the character poses is contradictory to their actions)

The only unfortunate thing about this is that at its core, it’s a Nisekoi romance. So if you are not here for the romance, sorry but the last few parts won’t satisfy you. Either way, this is one heck of a rare rating I’m giving.

okay, just finished this webtoon by watching\listening to a dub on youtube so my view might be skewed:
as people say it has the same vibes as nisekoi isn’t childish. it has dark themes like suicide and abuse, but not much. while the MC is asked to pick a girl its never “omg, i can’t choose. i don’t know who i love” bullshit. and there’s “a good\full” ending.
the story is driven by bad shit happening that needs to be solved.
there are no “misunderstanding” tropes since those are usually just for comedy.
MC isn’t completely pathetic and the moment he understand he has OP ability they start skipping almost anything it solves to stay on point.
the only thing i didn’t like was the reason they like MC is the same as always “he is so kind and supports me” aligning with the trope, but at some point they differentiate that from the “missing” hero the MC replaces which makes it somewhat better. so they could have given him less generic character traits…
